Dr. Hany Ashamalla is a Medical Doctor and double Board-Certified Diplomate in Psychiatry, Neurology and Brain Injury Medicine, and special qualifications in Addiction Medicine. He graduated from the Psychiatry Residency program at the University Of Southern California and completed his training in one of the largest residency programs in the Country at Los Angeles County Hospital and University of Southern California Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA. He served as a Chief resident during his final year. He has been in practice for over 20 years both in the United States and abroad. He obtained two Masters’ degrees in Neuroscience and Psychopharmacology. "Dr. A's long expertise in the art of Pharmacology, and in managing different psychiatric disorders in adolescents, adults, geriatrics, complicated medical co-morbidities, and patients with special needs, gave him the ability to help thousands of patients throughout the years so they can lead productive careers, top positions and prosperous life.
Dr. Ashamalla provided care for patients at SMI and private clinics, Honor Health System, Banner Health at Inpatient, Geriatric, and ICU/Medical floor/Observation floors since 2012.
Current Hospital affiliations: Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, Banner Del Webb Medical Center, and Banner Estrella Medical Center.

Irina Ashamalla
Irina is a double Board Certified
Nurse Practitioner in Family
Medicine and Mental Health. She graduated with her MSN from Western University of Health Sciences in 2012 with an emphasis in Outpatient Care, Public Health, and Healthcare Administration. She then completed studies at Arizona State University. She has worked at Notre Dame Behavioral Health since the beginning of the practice in 2013 as a Practice Manager in addition to her passion for providing direct
patient care.
Tiana is a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant. She completed her bachelor's degree in Biology at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. She then continued her education by pursuing her master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina. Her interest in science and zeal for helping others started from a young age. She is skilled at building close relationships with her patients and takes time out to listen to each patient's health concerns and works on their treatment accordingly. She is dedicated to looking for ways to promote mental health in the community through research and education. When not seeing patients, Tiana enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors, traveling the world and being exposed to new ideas and cultures.

Lee is a Board-certified Nurse practitioner in mental health. Lee was born in South Korea and is fluent in both Korean and English. She has worked in medical and mental health hospitals for over 15 years and cared for a variety of patients with passion and dignity. Lee was willing to pursue an advanced career and has graduated with MSN in 2019 at Wilkes University in Pennsylvania.

Trisha is a Board-Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse practitioner with 22 years of nursing experience. She graduated from Walden University 5/2020 as PMHNP-BC.
Trisha’s long nursing experience included critical care and as a clinical instructor for two Associate Degree programs in Iowa. Trisha is committed to caring for the patient’s well-being in a holistic manner. Her love of learning allowed her to explore all aspects of the patient’s care in order to improve their quality of life.
Kellie is a Nationally Certified Physician Assistant. She was born and raised in San Jose, California. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of California, San Diego. She attended Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona where she earned her master of medical science in physician assistant studies in 2017. Prior to working at Notre Dame Behavioral Health, she worked in internal medicine and primary care clinic. She is excited to help improve the mental health of her patients and have an impact on the community at large.
Kellie loves to travel, attend concerts of her favorite musical artists, and spend time with her dog. She is an avid baseball fan, hoping to watch a game at every major league stadium.
